Junior Master Data Application Manager

Context

L’Oréal has been transforming its organization and tools to better adapt to the fast-changing cosmetic market.

One keystone of this transformation is the enforcement of new group master data and standardized processes that have become the common language of L’Oréal Group. Due to the historical responsibilities of Finance: monitoring and consolidating the global performance, Finance Master Data are at the heart of this change. Finance Master Data are managed in a dedicated application connected to ERPs, Data Analytics, Finance and non-Finance applications. In tight collaboration with Group Finance Teams, the Group Finance Master Data Application Manager maintains and develops this application including integrating new management processes, expanding the communication of the Master Data to new partners.

Key responsibilities

• Finance Group referential
  1. Manage the projects and changes of the Finance Group referential in agile mode
  2. Understand and challenge the business needs raised by the Finance stakeholders and Finance applications IT team
  3. Design, specify, and document the new business rules and usage to develop in the Finance Group referential application
  4. Follow up dev team progress and perform application testing

• Organize and deliver run of the Finance Group Referential application
  1. Handle incidents & requests on the Finance Group referential application
  2. Ensure the full completeness of the daily batch and follow up the incidents with the identified teams until the resolution
  3. Set up the process of the daily management of the application in all its aspects (support, incident follow up, definition of the SLA/quality of service)
  4. Contributes to the evolution of the process of the application accordingly to the business strategy (operability of the solution, performance, ergonomic, integration in L’Oréal applicative landscape)

• Animate and collaborate with all stakeholders
  1. Collaborate with Finance stakeholders on the health of the application and its roadmap
  2. Ensure the full reliability of the master data hosted (Business Unit, Customer, P&L hierarchies…) with the support of the business owners
  3. Participate to the network of L’Oréal application managers to share ideas and best practices
  4. Interact with ops & infrastructure teams for maintenance in operating conditions

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering with a specialization in Finance
• Fluent in English
• A first experience in Master Data Management is necessary
• A first experience with EBX technology or on Finance Master Data Application is an asset
• You are rigorous and have deep analytical skills
• Dynamic you like working with various teams (IT, business…) in a multicultural environment
• You look for project management in an agile and fast changing environment
• Looking forward to a challenging and demanding position regarding the numerous and various topics to handle
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus
