JOB PROFILE (Professional and technical competencies required)

  • Strong interest and appetite for Beauty industry, products and brands
  • Proven experience in Market and Consumer knowledge studies and analysis
  • Ability to guide and challenge business needs into a brief, lead research projects until results integration
  • Ability to identify, select and challenge new and existing external partners
  • Strong quantitative skills. Advanced mastery of MS Excel and Office. PowerBI or equivalent would be a plus
  • Excellent understanding of data analytics and data ecosystem
  • Ability to handle figures and analysis with 100% quality and 100% reliability.
  • Strong sense of business to be able to submit the relevant analysis to marketing and commercial teams and Management committee
  • Strong presentation and communication skills : sharp, clear, strong messages, directly useful for top management
  • and internal stakeholders to make decisions
  • Excellent collaborative spirit, with both internal and external partners from very different cultures
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in Consumer & Market Insights, Business analysis or Marketing position
  • Experience in Beauty and/or Travel retail Industry will be a plus
  • Existing knowledge of American and/or Brazilian consumers will be a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY (KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES)

  • Consumer Insights : Drive and implement the Consumer Insights action plan, providing relevant and actionable learnings to fuel the growth strategy of the business
    • Propose and formalize the framework of studies in our subsidiary (objectives, timings, methodologies & resources) and lead the briefing process
    • Implement and management the tools and studies proposed by the Group at our subsidiary level
    • Plan and carry out consumer studies, collect 360 data and always guarantee reliability and quality of results
    • Analyze results and translate consumer data into meaningful insights & actions 
    • Present and communicate concise and striking messages directly useful for top management and internal stakeholders ensuring their integration in key decisions
    • Identify major shifts and trends in Travel Retail across markets to detect growth opportunities.
  • Be the sponsor of and the expert in the different group tools available for consumer connects and social listening
    • Create and maintain constructive relationships with agencies while driving and challenging methodologies ensuring compliance to Group methods and standards
    • Support Cross country fertilization, sharing of transversal studies across divisions/affiliates
  • Market Intelligence : Support  the development of TRAM data intelligence ecosystem, and develop adequate data and expertise
    • Gather, analysis and build report to share business environment indicators (passenger traffic data, socio-economic data) to support strategic decisions from Management, marketing and commercial teams
    • Contribute to monthly analysis and Finance trend process about TR market evolution and L’Oreal portfolio performance
    • Analyze other non Travel Retail panels (including Local Markets of top Americas countries)
    • Implement a Market and Business watch
    • Identify the main business shifts and opportunities from these market and panels analysis to build recommendation to Management, Marketing and Commercial teams
  • Be the key Business Partner on Consumer and Market Insight topics for 1 Business Unit and on transversal topics
    • Represent CMI team
    • Share CMI knowledge and expertise
